Where are the special effects ????

I have PI 7 and PI 10.....where did the special effects go ?????
Mainly I am talking about the particle effects and lighting effects such as lightning ????

I used them all the time in the older versions but they seem to have been removed or hidden on the later versions.

Anybody know where I can get at em ????

In PI11:

Particle Effect and Lighting Effect are in the EasyPalette, Galleries, Image Enhancements. with the name Particle and Creative Lighting.

i.e. The Particle Effect adds the realism of fire, smoke, snow, and other natural effects to your images. Each effect has its own self-contained set of attributes which can be individually customized. The Particle Gallery in the EasyPalette also provides preset particle effects that can be directly applied to images.

Thanks......do you know if it is the same for 10.............I haven't upgraded to 11 yet.
I am still deciding.

Yes the presets and effects are in the same Gallery location, as I use both.

Other than the User Interface, I do not see much difference between PI10 and 11.

If you like PI10 and don't have a reason to upgrade, special offers or something, then I would wait for PI12.

I can only confirm keenarts remarks. Unless you want to work with RAW format digital images or photos in general, there is nothing exiting in PI 11 when comparing it to PI 10.

I have booth, PI 10 and PI 11 and predominantly use PI 10.
