Convert Pal to NTSC

Hello,
Hving just completed a home movie using Ulead 9. I now have a request for a copy from canada.My copy is a pal version and has just been rendered and is now ready for burning. Can i at this late stage now convert it to NTSC. Any help would be appreciated

Check out the link below.
If you have rendered to an MPEG for burning then load it in the timeline and re-render to NTSC and take a look to see if you can live with it.

Better still is to render to a PAL DV AVI then convert that to an NTSC DV AVI then to MPEGs then to DVD.
Convoluted I know but it is all explained below.

Or just re-render your project with NTSC settings - keep 2 copies 1 PAL and 1 NTSC

Just select appropriate settings under SHARE tab.

And be prepared for a drop in quality.

VS needs to create 4.97 frames per second that aren't there and change the frame size from 720 x 576 (PAL) to 720 x 480 (NTSC)

You could also check with your friend/relative in Canada to see if their DVD player will play PAL DVD's and just send them your one made in PAL.
