Re-installation pbl VS10+

Hello,

I was in contact with the support. They asked me to re-install VS10+.

During the installation and at the end, the system gave me the message:

Error While attempting to write the database

The VS10 installation didn't crash and continued. VS10 is working.

Suggestion????

I installed 2 times VS10 and received still the same message.

Thanks if you have an idea to help me. :(

Never had this msg reported here before. I wonder which database? The only one associated with the installation of VS is the Smartsound database. (I know whereof I speak since I have just had to reformat and reinstall all my programs including VS9 and 10+. Of course I installed Quicktime Pro 7 before I installed the VS programs, and of course, predictably, Smartsound balked.)
