Hi all,I am editing pictures for my website. The pictures are of fishing lures(crank baits/spinnerbaits/jigs) they are all custom.
I have taken all the pictures of my baits and edited them. They look reaaly great and I am very happy with Photo Impact.I do have a small problem I need help with.
I am attempting to take an object from one picture and either place that object into a new project or add to another photo.
To be more clear about this I am basically trying to show two different views of a bait in one photo. I have taken and edited the pictures of the same bait, each picture from a different angle. I then would like to take each picture of said bait and cut them out and place in a photo that would refelct the different views.
I was succesfull with using the lasso tool, and coming out with some very clean lines by zooming the bait out and creating the control points.
The problem is when I attempt to move the object to another blank project the object turns into something that looks much like a negative.
I have reviewed the video tutoral several times. Please tell me what I a missing here!I am growing frustrated.BTW I an running version 10.
Thank you in advance for your help.I hope this finds you all well!

A dumb question but please help me.

I can't follow you, sorry.
After you made your selection with the lasso tool, what is your next step? Do you convert your selection to "Object"?
In order to extract an object from an image, you need to create that object. Just selecting it is not sufficient. Once you converted your selection to object, you can move it around, copy and paste, rotate, resize etc.
