Audio Filter Problem!

I am trying out the demo of Media Studio Pro.

I cannot get it to load, however. During the loading process, it crashes while trying to load audio plugins, especially VSTs.

I have several audio programs on my computer, hence many plugins. The audio programs have no problem loading the plugins, but MSP seems to have a problem with them.

Is there a way I can tell MSP not to load audio plugins (I don't think I'll need them in MSP), so that I can try the program? (It seems by default to want to load every audio plugin on the system, both dxi and vst, even including softsynths (which I doubt MSP can do anything with). Isn't there a way to specify which audio plugins to load, or none at all?)

In looking through this forum, this seems to be a common problem with MSP.

It is not that they are "bad plug-ins". My audio plugins work fine with my audio software. MSP8 seems to have a problem with many audio plugins, both DXI and VST.

Is Ulead aware of this, and working on a fix for it?

Besides, there really should be a way to disable the audio plugins (I use them in audio software, but don't think I would need them in MSP) from loading (disable all of them, or individual plugins).

In the meantime, hasn't anyone found a workaround for this problem? I have seen some things in other posts. One person wrote that rebooting solved the problem. Not with me. I even tried a very thorough uninstall, then a reinstall. Didn't solve the problem. I saw a post that one can disable the dxis with a line in the msp.ini file. I tried that, didn't work, they still try to load.

Any suggestions?
