Moviemaker3 crash attempting to view or burn my slideshw

Post by blaz14 »

Sometimes when I attempting to view my slideshow or always when I try to burn to DVD I get the send an error report to microsoft error. Below are the errors from the system event viewer.

Ive tried reinstalling software, shutting down all other processes and also installing the patches. Basically the software is good for nothing if I cant burn my holiday pics to dvd.

Faulting application dvdmf.exe, version 3.5.0.1, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x00010f29.

Faulting application dvdmf.exe, version 3.5.0.1, faulting module uvmp3.vio, version 3.5.0.1, fault address 0x00005a8f.

I have a full defect screenshot attachment if further info is needed to help me get through this. hours of work down the drain  [/img]

Have the same issue. Could be on of the MP3 file, but I hadn't time to figure that out.

I converted all mp3 to wav, but it still does not work. The other error message I get is :

Faulting application dvdmf.exe, version 4.0.0.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x000106c3.

I read somewhere else in this forum, that this error is normaly connected to a buggy video file. Does anybody know how to find that out which file is affected ? All my mpeg-2 video files are ok if play 'em in MF4.
