Hello, I'd like to know which if is possible display the date of tape after capture file dv with videostudio.
I capture with videostudio from camcoder a file dv without show the date on screen.
after capture when i go id edit mode and split scene by date i don't know the date of single scene, is possible display on screen after capture?

If you captured as digital and if your computer supports the function - go the "File >> Preferences" and right at the bottom of the new window put a tick in the box against " Display date code in preview window"
Note that this will not display on your finished video - to do that make a small tille showing the date and place it somewhere on your video screen.
You can also try letting your mouse cursor hover over a thumbnail in the library - after a few seconds a box will appear giving date of recording - then you make a title again - this method only works satisfactorily if the thumbnail is one continuous time and not made up of several different recordings captured as one file.
The date of original recording is also shown under the preview screen as you capture - make a note of it then.
