error (-5006 : 0x80070057)

Hello guys, im new on the forums, and this is my firs post.... unfortunately is not good news.
When i try to install Photoimpact 11 in my machine i get this error
"An error (-5006 : 0x80070057) has ocurred while running the setup), i would like to know why i cant install the software and if there is a way to fix this

I hope somebody can help me, please

I do not recognize the error code; however, try the following before installing again. I assume you are trying to install from a CD?

Go to the Control Panel and under Add and Remove Programs check to make sure you do not have another version or a Trial version of PI installed. If you do then uninstall the software.

Go to the Temp Folder and delete unnecessary leftovers.

Search your Hard Drive and see if there are any Ulead Folders and files left behind, and if you find any delete them.

Defrag your Hard Drive. A couple of times if possible.

Turn off your anti-virus and firewall software, shutdown DVD/CD Drag and Drop software and any other third party stuff running in the background.

Turn off your Printer, and disconnect any off board USB Hard Drives.

Now try to install Ulead once again. If the problem persists then you may have a bad Disc, your CD Player may not recognize the Disc, or other problem you will have to resolve through Tech Support.
