Pan & Zoom VS10

Post by middlebury madness »

When applying the Pan & Zoom to my still pictures I cannot figure out how to put intermediate steps in like I did in VS9. Once I picked a basic zoom/pan I could customized it and add additional points on the path. How do we do this in VS10? Have things been totally automated and will I have to move into Pro to get back some of these tools?

The Pan & Zoom control is many times better then it was in earlier versions. After you have choosen a preset, click the customize icon. Now if you are familar with Keyframes you just drag the playhead under the left preview pane, or press play and pause/stop where you want to change it. Click on the + icon, which will add a keyframe, and give another crosshair control point. You can change the size, and placement. You are not limited to Beginning, middle and end, like in VS9...

Thank you for clarifying this for me. The help and manuals are pretty useless. I will give it a try. It makes sence now. Will let you know how I make out
