anyone using a Sony HVR-A1P with MSP?

Hi, I'm about to purchase a Sony HVR-A1P HDV Camera to use with MSP.
Has anybody else used this camera, and with what sort of success and/or failure.

yes I have this camera. Have had absolutely no problems with MSP8. I have captured in HDV and in DV. MSP8 picks up both modes no problem. I did have a lag issue capturing in HDV but that is normal apparently, and I had the wrong field first as well leading to some jagginess in movement. But that was all operator error. Great camera, highly recommend it!

my advise, to purchase, is Sony HDR-HC1E . But also there is no problem with Sony HVR-A1P HDV camera. so it is up to you..
