Can't Open VSP with Video Editor

i can't open vsp files with video editor.. i use Videostudio 10 and i wanted to import the vsp to the Video Editor.. but for some reason i get an error:

Unable to open file
20213:2:2

what did i do wrong?

You should simply use File | Open
having said that though the recommendation of the forum is to complete a project using the application you started with.
Theoretically there shouldn't be a problem but practically there often is.

yeah i did use file -> open.. strange it that it doesn't work.. i'll keep using vs then..

Gel,

Have you installed service pack 1 for MSP? It is supposed to add support for VS 10 project files. (I assume you are using MSP 8. If not, you will probably have to continue using VideoStudio.)
