Thank you very much, Ron. I shall inform the Management of this situation and check if it really is defective/corrupted.

:( Doesn't look like they are going to do anything about it - nothing has changed for so many months.

For those who got a working copy of the content pack

is it possible to post it for us to download? I don't think this is illegal as it is useless for anyone without a valid program.

When you purchase a download version your email will contain 2 links.
1. The program.
2. The extra content.

Both of these links are 'time limited.' you are given a specific end date in which you can attempt to download the files as many times as you wish.

The information I received with the license code for VideoStudio 10 contained 3 download links - same address except for the ending of -2 or -3 or -4 ... All had the same description "Download the full version - You can download the product at:" and then the link. Each indicated a different file size. I immediately downloaded from the link with the largest file size. Two files show in the folder where I downloaded to. The one indicates content and when clicked starts to install and then tells me "file corrupt". I do not have any more content than I did from the trial version (I did not install trial version on this computer) so this is a clean install. The program seems to work fine except that I have very limited content.

My question is how do I get the rest of what I purchased in a file that is "not" corrupted.

Thanks...

If you look at the download link you should find different options for downloading.

1. A normal download - bit risky because if you lose your internet connection you have to start again from scratch.
2. The Ulead download manager. This enables you to continue from where you left off in case you lose your internet connection.

Or you can use your own download manager such as GetRight

If you were given 3 files to download you will probably find the third is for something extra - I seem to recall when Version 10 first came out they were giving away WinDVD Player 7 as a free bonus.

If you keep getting a corrupt download, try one of the other two methods.

Interesting that each of the links in my download email has the exact same description. Nothing, and I say NOTHING, indicates that they are different from each other except the size of the file. ??? Like I said each link says "Download the full version here" How would one know that they needed to download from each???

So I have followed several tech support links which all turn out to be dead ends... Is this company really legit?

The mention of an ftp site... what location does one ftp from? I have an ftp client mentioned. How do I connect?

Thanks for your help...

Hi
I have the feeling that VS11 will be available before the VS10 content pack will be put onto Uleads website.
Can't anyone of you who already has the content pack put it onto a hosting website that we all can download it from there?
There are sites like www.filefront.com that offer free and unlimited data space that could be used? Registration to such sites can be anonymously so there is no risk.
Who wants to be a hero and put his content pack onto a website?

Why bother, they are all slowly merging into one anyway.
