Hi
Is the VS9 content pack identical to the content pack of VS10?
I ask because the VS9 content pack can be downloaded from here:
ftp://VS9:content@cs.ulead.com/

for the VideoStudio 9 content pack to download you must have VideoStudio 9 installed otherwise when you try to run the installation you will get an error message stating that it cannot find VideoStudio 9.

You can see the difference between the two content packs in this article:
MF5/ VS9 /VS10: Share Menus, Transitions between products

I noticed that VS9 have good enough content. Where is VS10's content.link? I still wait for VS10 content link.

ftp://VS10@cs.ulead.com/

I think this may be the link for the content pack? I got a request for a password when I entered that link, however my password didn't work....so maybe it's out of date?

Good try but.... you're trying to modify the link for the VS9 extra content, sorry won't work.

The VS9 link ftp://VS9:content@cs.ulead.com/
is made up of
ftp - to tell the web browser this is an ftp request rather than a http address.
VS9 = User name
Content = Password
cs.ulead.com - the address of the ftp server.

So you can see that changing VS9 to VS10 is just hope.

But Steve, that is not to say that there *is* something strange about the VS10 content download. And that Ulead should be doing something about it.

I for instance have never resolved my issue of the missing Album transitions, and various other individual transitions within classes, missing, yet have the full version -- as do others. I have learned to live with it as I have alternatives. But other do not...

What makes me think something is there is that when I use that modified link it asks for a password? So I think something is there but the password I have isn't working...

So where did you get the password from or are you just trying to make one up with guesswork?

In the VS9 link, whoever the person from Ulead was that placed it there chose to create a username [VS9] and a password [content]
In fact any username / password could have been created they could just as easily have made username = apples, password = oranges.

Will Ulead get a new content link soon?

Do not waste your time. The file is corrupt.

I downloaded this file over 10 days ago and it was corrupt. I guess Ulead received 10s of e-mail complaining about it so they disabled the link for a week. I thought maybe they are working on repairing the file, today they activated the link and I downloaded the file for the second time but the file still is corrupt.

So my friends if you are using Ulead products as long as I am, you should know by now that Ulead customer service SUCKS.
