Ulead have stopped providing the option to include a DVD player onto a DVD disc. You can do it manually by burning to a DVD folder on your hard drive. Then including into a sub folder a copy of a DVD Player (Theres one in our link to free stuff or you can google)
Then burn the DVD Folder using appropriate software.
You can include an autostart file - just look at a commercial DVD that behaves this way to see how it works.

You have two options:
Option 1. The DVD Playing software does not automatically start.
Method 1.
Create a DVD in the normal manner so that you have folders named
Audio_TS
Video_TS
Burn to a Hard Driver folder. Allow room when creating the DVD for the inclusion of the DVD Player. Now add a new folder and include in that folder the DVD Player. example:
Audio_TS - blank
Video_TS - DVD VOB IFO BUP files
Player - The DVD Player.
Burn the Hard Drive folder to a DVD Disc with your favourite burning software.
Method 2.
Most DVD Authoring programs allow you to include a 'personal folder'
Include in that personal folder the DVD Player.
Option 2. Insertion of a DVD disc in a computer prompts to install the DVD Player Software
Follow the steps for method 1 above.
Include in the root of the DVD folder a file named Autorun.inf
The autorun.inf can be created with Windows Notepad.
If your DVD player is named 'player.exe'
and your files look like this:
Audio_TS - blank
Video_TS - DVD VOB IFO BUP files
Player - player.exe
The autorun.inf would look like this:
[autorun]
open=Player/player.exe
Now burn the DVD Folder with your favourite DVD burning software.
So you may ask, where can I get a DVD player from to include onto the disc?
There is at least one in our link to free stuff or you can do a search of Google.
