HDV capture ????

Hello to all.

I am newcomer in camcorder's world. Bought me the new sony Hdr-hc3 and Ulead MEDIASTUDIO PRO 8.

Movies are filmed in HDV-mode but when i try to transfer to my computer with MediaStudio it can't capture in HDV modus, even when I select HDV Plugin. Only HD is working.
Windows system settings shows me my camcorder as Sony HD Camcorder, and not as Av/C tape recorder. 1394 Bus Hostcontroller is OK.

Do I have a problem with driver under windows XP or with configuration of the Ulead software.

I don't have an HC3, however my HC1 has two places to set HDV.

This link, the third post down may explain why you are not getting HD connection.

Thanks... problem was with the ilink converter switched on.

Big problems, but simple solutions....
