Title Annimation

Post by pbrahim »

 I have been a faithful Media Pro User since the beginning. I am currently using version 8. I have had more trouble with this update than all the other combined!!! :x I am so frustrated, I even downloaded Adobe Premier for a test drive.

Now to my current frustration, ( My first one being the out of sync voices after rendering - NEVER had that problem with earlier versions,WHY won't Ulead fix this!), When I put an annimation on a title, I have been unsuccessful in removing it. There must be a trick, I haven't found it. I even closed a project and started it again to erase the memory, and when I inserted a new title, the SAME annimation was automatically popping up!! Can someone PLEASE tell be the secret of changing/removing the title annimations on titles.
Thank you

Hi,

Well MSP8 is my first version of MSP, so I'm real new and green to it. However have you tried highlighting your title, with the Insert Title Clip window open, go to the Animation Tab, then clicking on the checkmark again? I believe that undoes it also...

Actually the solution is easy, but not something you would think of. Here are the steps:
- Double click on the title to open the title editor
- In the title editor, click on the title to select it
- Click on the animation tab
- You should notice that under the "Title Style" tab is a checkmark and it should have a blue box around it--that means there is an animation assigned to the text
- Now click any BLANK space in the box where the animations are and you should see the check mark (mentioned above) become unhighlighted which means the animation is removed.

I hope this helps.

There are a lot of people in this forum who have had the same problem, as you could see if you read more of the posts.
But its allways nice to see that others have the same difficulties. :)

I suspect that this kind of UI was the personal idea of Uleads president himself, his loved child :D
Otherwise it would have been changed allready.

Just an addition/change to my post above. Following my instructions above, you just need to click on the "checkmark"; you don't need to click on a blank space in the animation window.
