User ID? when upgrading to VS10+

Hello, I am new here, hope this isn't the wrong forum for this question. :oops:

Thing is, I am just now trying to buy an upgrade from VS9 to 10+, but when it comes to entering personal information I am asked for a user ID as a returning customer. I can't find this Id anywhere in my papers and when I choose the "forgot/don't know user ID" option, there is an error when I input my email and submit. I have tried the same user name/passw as when I log in to Ulead but no luck.

I suppose I could just input my info all over again but I want to make sure I get this as an upgrade and not as a new purchase.

Any help appreciated.

The user ID and password you are being asked to input is the ID you used to register your copy of VS9 - it is NOT necessarily the same as the user name and password you use to log on to these users forums - unless you specifically made sure they were the same when you first registered your product and on these forums - which you would have done on two very different websites.

So if you did register V9 then you need to remember the details you used for that - if you did not register V9 then you will not have a user ID for the registration process and you will need to register V9 before you can register to purchase the V10 upgrade. That process has no connection whatever with your membership on these forums and filling in the registration for V9 again (if you need to) will not affect your membership of these forums.
