Frame IMAGE for EXPORT..?

Post by glswank »

Is there any way to export or capture a frame from the timeline to any kind of image file? I have a movie with three video tracks and I would like to get a "snapshot" of on of the frames to import into PhotoShop so I can create the exact matte/mask and I need the FRAME to be able to do this so I can match the size (720X480).

Under the Source or Preview Windows, there are a bunch of icons (Play, Next, etc...). The icon 2nd to last (on the right) allows you to Save Image To...

What GW says is OK for MSP8, but I don't think you specified which version you have. For earlier versions, the icon in question is to the right of the shuttle/trim bars.

hehe, Devil is correct -- if you are using an earlier version of MSP, then the icon is in a different location...
