Hello,

I bought a new Sony videocamera type DCR-SR90. It is HDD camera and makes MPEG-2 format. Connection USB port. Currently I use an old version Ulead program and I'd like to by a new one (videostudio 10 plus). Is the program able to capture directly from HDD or not.

It doesn't really matter. You are not "capturing" you are just transferring files.
The HD cam is just that...a hard drive. All you have to do is drag the MPEG files from the cam's hard drive over to the computer hard drive using Windows.
