DVD MovieFactory 5

Post by DSHolloway »

Have been using it for a few weeks and have come across two problems:
In creating a slide show I cannot get any sound while in the preview window. Visuals work as they are planned but no sound either with the set menu music or the main background music. There is a volume adjustment in that window and therefore I assume there should be sound!
The other problem is, how does one adjust background music to fade at the appropriate point, ie at the near end of the slide show. I don't want to use the 'adjust slide show to length of music' as this adjusts view time of the slide beyond best time of 3/4 seconds.
Please help.

Thanks for your response MD. Have Creative SoundBlaster 5.1 with an EMU10K1 audio processor; I have just found out that my son has the same setup and he has no problem.
I am reluctant to change settings to my motherboard audio amp as this is likely to clash with other software I use (Media studio Pro 8 for one) which runs OK. Perhaps an update of the Creative driver may help although it seems to me to be a problem that ULead should deal with.
As to the second problem it looks as though I shall have to adjust the background music length on the Pro 8 Video Audio Editor as there is no way I can see in DVD MF5 to adjust the time.
