How to add sparkle to image

Hi, i was wondering if i could add some sort of sparlke or light glimmer to this image,

i have not got gif-x 2, is there any other way of doing this idea just with Gif 5..

There are no effects that come with GIF Animator that will do this. However, if you have Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, you can configure GA 5 to use any Photoshop-compatible filters those programs use. You can configure that by clicking "File," "Preferences" and going to the Plug-In Filters tab.

Many plug-ins are available for free. Some require a Photoshop compatible program on your machine to be installed, others simply need a folder to be extracted to. All depends on the plug-in. Such filters have the file extension .8bf, by the way.

If you have PhotoImpact or any program that will let you save in .psd or .ufo format, you can use GIF Animator's external image editor feature and edit each object there.

What other imaging software have you, or do you have just GIF Animator 5?
