Feature Comparison between ULEADS Products

Post by javelinmania »

I see multiple ULEAD products: Videostudio, DVD MovieFactory, DVD Workshop and Video Toolbox. They seem to overlap each other in features. Is there an overall feature comparison chart that compares each of them to the others? Trying to determine the best product sets for me.

Not sure about a comparison chart, you'd need to scour the Ulead site and bring up each product individually I expect.

If you gave more details on what you want to do, we'd be able to give better advice on the products.

I use Workshop, but then I want a high end dvd authoring tool for my work, what do you want the app to do, what do you classify yourself as, beginner, intermediate, pro, hobby, now and then...... Do you want editing, authoring, both?

My immediate needs is to take 3 seperate DVD Videos each is on its own DVD disc. I then want to take all three videos and put them on a single DVD. I will need a Menu to allow the user to select which video they want to see. I would also like the option that the user can also select to play one or all three over and over again. In addition, on one of these videos, I need to add a Voice Naration and also some displayed Text/Titles while playing. At some point, I will want to be able to create new videos by cutting and pasting clips from many sources, add a sound track, voice narations and displayed text/titles. The sources will come from 8MM Cam Corder, other DVDs, phtos, etc. I am new to videos, but willing and able to learn a more advanced software package.

based upon your entry above, the most suitable product for your particular needs and circumstances would appear to be VideoStudio.
