How change # of chapters in a VS10 DVD SmartScene template?

I am trying to modify a VS 10 DVD SmartScene menu template to accomodate 5 rather than 3 chapters per page. I have managed to generate the two new entries ( by copy-pasting the existing ones, and renaming them appropriately), and they are working. But I have not found what needs to be edited to change the locations and number of the little selection lasso that appears as I cursor over the menu items.

1) What file/s control the selection icons?

2) Will PhotoImpact 11's VS plug-in help me substantially with template modifications?

After poking around a little more using PhotoImpact, I've pretty much answered my own question - #1 at least. Using PI's layer manager, I spotted the lasso icons, moved them ( the initial 3) to the right spots, then duplicate one of them twice. Next I moved the new duplicates to their appropriate locations - just eye-balling their appearance on the PI screen. Then all that was left was to modify the names of the new duplicates as #4 and #5 (Properties showed me the full names, then I just incremented the instance #). And it works!


Now, can anyone suggest what real value the VS plug-in for PI11 will give me? I have PI 10, and am wondering whether upgrading to 11 is worth the cost.
