HOW TO SEPARATE A VIDEO CLIP?

Post by dude16 »

I recored 2 FIFA Games as one clip, but I can't separate, the separate/join button it not avaible for me to use, because that feature is only avaible when their 2 clips to begin with, you join and then separate again, but in my case I have 1 clip and I want to make it into 2. So can I still separate the clips?

Move the slider below the preview screen to the point where you want to break the video. Then cut with the scissors icon to the right of the slider. If you want to save the two files as completely separate files, then highlight the first section and go to Tools > Save Trimmed Video. Do the same with the second section. New icons for these new files will appear in the Library pane. Be aware that your original clip will also be retained as a single video. So if you want to edit the new clips separately, you have to take the original clip out of the timeline, and drag each new clip in separately.
