upgrade with product key only

I am a registered v4, 6, 7 and 8 videostudio user. I blew out my harddrive and just got a new computer. I have all my product keys but I don't have any software. I have all project files for vs 8. I wish to upgrade to VS 10. How can I upgrade without the origin CD

All you need is the original CD from ANY suported previous version, you don't even need to install it. When you try to install the UVS10 upgrade it will search for the previous version, and if it can't find it, you can insert the CD of the previous version to let the upgrade continue.

Sorry, Torsten, but the upgrade verification for VS10 has changed from that used with previous versions. See a few threads below this one at http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 0090#70090 and you will see that you only need the s/n of the previous version both to purchase the upgrade and to verify it before installation.
