When I try to burn disc, approximately in 40 minutes it stops with this report. What should I do?

:? I have no idea what that error code means...

The most common cause of "strange" burning problems is a conflict with your "packet writing" software (Roxio, Nero, etc.).

If you have other burning software and you can't disable it, try "burning" to your hard drive, and then use your regular burning software to copy the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders to an actual DVD.

- When you get to the "burn" step, check the box that says Create DVD folders and un-check Create Disc. If that works, you'll get the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders on your hard drive, instead of on a DVD.

Any other suggestion of this error? I got the same error and it seems not to be any answer.

By the way...reading many post in this forum I realize that Ulead launch new software with many errors and few answers on how to solve them.

Hi Zek,

I disagree with that. With several issues the OP (original poster) when provided with a solution, be it a patch, workaround, workflow issues, or problems pointed out with system configurations may not post back that the problem was corrected, and some do.

While some of Ulead's programs are released with problems that should have been corrected prior to being released, most of the issues can be associated with system configurations, and workflow. Then there is the issue of trying to edit formats that just are not meant to be edited. When you do that, you just invite problems.

There have been recent occurances where a Ulead rep has confirmed that a problem is known, and that they have been working on a fix.

What I try to follow is the K.I.S.S. method, which is Keep It Simple (Stupid, Silly or whatever). Keeping my video editing as simple as possible will avoid any problems. I don't try to edit DivX, Xvid, WMV or even MPEG-2 (I said I don't, I didn't say don't do it did I???). If using MP3s has caused problems for people, I don't use them. I do my editing with the bare minimum running on my system. I wouldn't like being forced to my maximum potential all the time, so I'm not going to force my computer to run to it's max. All in all, the recommended procedures, are recommendations, and I tend to follow the "advice" of those that have been doing it far longer then I.

So after all that, have you tried DVDDoug's suggestions? Also without knowing more specific information about your project properties, how your captured, your video file properties, what you done once the video was captured, what your system specs are, what type of media you're using, and if you have any other DVD "Packet Writing" software installed, it is difficult to provide any accurate advise..

Regards..
