Hi Bill,

I've not only went from VS9 to 10+, but from VS5 upgraded to VS8, upgraded to VS9, then full version of 10+, which is the first Full Boxed version of VS I've owned. The others were ESD upgrades.

No issues that I'm aware of. Right now on my system I have installed and am able to run without confilcts:
  • VideoStudio 8
  • VideoStudio 9
  • VideoStudio 10+
  • MediaStudio Pro 7.0 SE
  • MediaStudio Pro 8
  • DVD MovieFactory 4 Disc Creator
  • Windows Movie Maker

I have in the past also had a couple of other trial applications installed such as Vegas...

With VS10+, they changed the method of validating the upgrade. First when you go to purchase VS10+, you are asked for the serial number of a previous VS or other application that qualifies for upgrades. Then when you install it, it will ask for the previous versions serial number, then the serial number for VS10+..

hundreds of us I would think Bill, maybe rising to thousands, I certainly have and like Ron I have versions 6 to 10+ all installed and runable on my PC without any conflicts or problems.

having read of the numerous problems on here just with downloading and installing I changed to buying the "Boxed" option three versions ago and have never looked back.

I say "Boxed" because if you buy V10+ direct from Ulead (Element 5) then it actually comes in an envelope - but you get the discs and a nice little paper maual.
