1)Is it possible to Capture HDV from my Sony HDR-HC1 and then burn HD content to a standard 4.7GB DVD R and play the HD content back on the new Toshiba HD DVD player? Anyone know how to do this is in VS9?
I'd love to shoot some HD scenes, burn to DVD and take it to Best Buy for a demo.
2) Anyone hear anything about an HD DVD burner for PC's yet?
3) HD DVD and Blu-ray hold a lot more data than standard DVD's, right? (I won't write actual capacities because that might spark debate) So, does this mean we could store several hours of standard definition video on one of these new discs?
A few HD questions

Re: A few HD questions
He was asking about doing it in VS9, so I directed him to your tutorial on that version, instead of a VS10 version...jfkeenan wrote:1)Is it possible to Capture HDV from my Sony HDR-HC1 and then burn HD content to a standard 4.7GB DVD R and play the HD content back on the new Toshiba HD DVD player? Re: A few HD questions
No problem about that. I gave him a link to a thread on the specific Toshiba HD-DVD player that is rumored to be able to playback high def video from standard DVDs. It would be great if it worked because the HD-DVD disks are expensive as Hell.vidoman wrote:He was asking about doing it in VS9, so I directed him to your tutorial on that version, instead of a VS10 version...:
