Rendering Issue

Post by MiniMurderdoll »

Hey,

Ive been using Video Studio 9 for a while now, and not had any problems....however now I seem to have an issue when exporting

Basically the first bit of the video will export fine, and the audio and video are in sync and the timeline moves along in whatever media player I view it in.

However at some point, which I *think* is when theres a change of audio such as, a video clip is unmuted, or a music track ends.....the video's mess up and the timeline stops moving, and sometimes the audio may carry on for a bit, but skipped a chunk. Or nothing may happen for a while, and then the video will start playing again, but audio and video will be out of sync.

Im prity sure this is only happening when Im changing something with the audio. If I have a complilation of lots of video clips....all in a row, I think they always work fine.

Any ideas where this issue may lie?

Thanks,

Chris

When you lay an audio track, it isn't glued to the video track or tracks, so any change you make by adding or removing video files will offset the audio track accordingly. VS10 has a feature called 'Ripple Editing' to help with this issue, but as I jumped from VS8 to VS10 I don't know if VS9 had the Ripple Editing facility.

Can you also tell us the properties of the video you are trying to export (I am assuming that it is indeed a single file...). Al so, what exactly are you exporting it to, and what steps are you taking to do it? :?: :?: :?:
