Question about when I creat a file to share...

Post by Mattcharles »

Now, what I have been doing so far with Ulead VideoStudio Plus 10
is taking music video clips and clips from movies and making them into remixes and stuff from my MP3's and movies I bought. I am making my own stuff for my use ONLY. so we all know I am not doing nothing illegal lol.

ANYWAY, when I go to put it as a DVD file, the finished produce looks good but there is a shakey black line on top and than another one on the bottom. I am using DVD Shrink videos I uploaded from that. What can I do to make the video look better? Thanks so much in advance. :)

Are the "shaky black lines" there when you watch it on TV, or just as you have viewed it on your PC? On TVs there is an overscan area and chances are those lines won't be viewable.

Ah yes, then that would be a problem. You would probably have little alternative but to use the crop filter to slightly reduce the top and bottom size a fraction throughout the video.

I'd have to say, though, that having the lines at all is rather unusual if the source material was originally digital. You did not say anything about this, but my assumption, from the fact that you have the lines, would be that you are capturing your material from an analogue source such as VHS movie tapes or an analogue TV card.

No the matieral i am getting is from a DVD that has a Music video on it.

Well, what I did was I clicked the part where it says use the same as the file settings or something and it saved how it original was. I didn't try that section out but that seems to have corrected it lol. I always answer my own questions in the long run lmao. oh well, at least you guys are willing to help! :)
