I know when you capture to a DV-AVI file you can enable showing the timecode information during preview. I was wondering if there was a way to do the same thing with HDV video.
I would like to be able to name my clips according to the timecode information for my records but at the moment I either have to capture to DV-AVI and record the information or watch the video on my camera to figure it out. Is there an easy way to pull this information from the HDV mpeg2 file?
