Capture duration limitation in Trial version?

Post by Franciscus »

I just installed the trial version of VS10 and I tried capturing analog video using my ATI Sapphire Theatrix board.
The capture stops after about 11 seconds, without any error message.
When I try the Help function, the program says "Help file not found".

Is this time limit inherent to the Trial version? Do I have to pay to try a real video?

No limit that I'm aware of - and even if there is it is considerably longer than 11 seconds - maybe there is a glitch in your video at that point , have you tried capturing a different piece of video. Do you have plenty of spare space on your hard drive - video consumes a lot of space.

:( I don't think the video is to blame because Windows Movie Maker and Pinnacle Studio Trial have no problem with it.

Could there be some incompatibility between the capture card and ULead? Because I sometimes get messages saying no video signal is detected, although I can clearly see video in the preview window.
