GIF 5 , GIF-X 2.0 Plug-In Question

Post by NUTZ »

...Hello Robert, TY for all ur help in the past.

When using GIF X 2.0 plugin, Can I add more than 1 effect to same animation, the LIGHTS effects?

I open 1 frame animation n apply GIF X 2.0 spot light LIGHT effect adding 20 frames, resulting in a 21 frame animation

then, i would like to apply another effect to those 21 frames, GIF X 2.0 lens flare LIGHT effect

Can thisi be done in ulead gif 5 with this plug in?

or Can it be done with diff plugin/effect?

I have worked with 2 seperate animations n then tried to merge them together but 1 overrides the other cuz theres no transparency, and u cant add lights effects to a blank tranparent canvas, so i think.

ty

Start your animation from scratch.

Bring up GIF-X 2 as usual. Select the first effect you want.

Now click the + button you see on the right in the "Elements" area.

Now click the Lens Flare button. This will change the second effect to Lens Flare...

There ye go! 8)

Note you can apply several effects, and use the up/down arrows to place them.

A little experimentation may be required to get things just the way you want them.

That is correct... only works for light effects.

For motion effects, you are basically out of luck. Unless you want to do an awful lot of work.

However, with an external image editor, if GIF-X 2 has been added to it's filters, you can change one frame at a time more easily. In the external editor, you would open GIF-X 2. Select the motion effect of your choice. In the frame section, you can move along to the frame and see the effect change. Once you have the particular one you want, click OK. The effect for that GIF-X frame only will be applied. Then repeat for the other objects.

Trying to do this in GA 5 doesn't work too well, as it automatically generates the whole animation. You would be deleting a lot of extra frames and objects that weren't needed.

Hope this helps!

SORRY I CONTINUE THIS THREAD N KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS

WHEN I DID THIS I APPLIED IT TO 1 FRAME ANIMATION ADDING 30 FRAMES BY SELECTING THE 1 OBJECT IN OBJECT SECTION
CAN I ADD THIS EFFECT TO AN EXISTING 30 FRAME ANIAMTION BY SELECTING ALL THE OBJECTS?
I HAVE TRIED BUT NO SUCCESS

GIF-X 2 will not let you do that. Sorry... It likes one object at a time. See my previous reply on this thread, the answer is there - external image editor will work best.

Glad to be of assistance...
