Please help here:
I just made a new DVD PAL movie presentation from pictures. total movie is 14 min.
It is play well and all work perfectly.
But if I try to view with a TV or a Video projector part of the picture arround is lost. it is like the TV screen is smaller then the movie. about 10% is lost.
I had tried 4 TV sets - same problem.
Tried 2 Video projector - same problem.
When I run same DVD on my laptop - great ! no problem.
Hope my question is clear for yoy to help me.
Thanks guys - I need the answer urgently !

This is completely normal and always happens - it is not so much the TV's cutting off the picture but your laptop/PC shows more of your picture than the TV standards specify.
This is referred to as 'overscan' and is the reason why when editing on a computer you should keep all titles etc in the 'safe area' which Ulead has thoughtfully marked for you.

I do not have problem with the titles and menues, there I can limit myself to the center acording to the marks.
What to do withe a picture that some details just not shown ? My movie is completely useless if the pictures are not shwon fully.
Maybe, it is beter Idea to work on the overlay layer and limit my self to the center ?
thaks for your help.

Thank you a lot .THoff wrote:Try this:
1. Create a new project, insert a black color patch into the timeline.
2. Add the existing video in an overlay.
3. Change the duration of the black patch to be the same as the video in the overlay.
4. Size the overlay as needed (keep the overlay in the Safe Area).
This was the answer I was looking for - Thanks.
