ldvdeng.dll problem

Post by pol54 »

I'm still trying to make my MF5 working (a version I bought in Belgium and a version I downloaded and payed by the web). I'm having a problem while video/audio multiplexing. The system hangs and a windows error code indicates a problem with ldvdeng.dll
Has anyone a simular problem and is it solved??
I'm using MPEG2 compliant files in MF4 and MF5. In MF4 i have no problems whatever with audio/video multiplexing. With the same files the system hangs in MF5.
Still waiting for advise from support.

ldvdeng.dll

First of all I would like to thank Steve J. en "maddrummer3301" for their very fast replies.

Especially the hint of Steve to indicate his version of the ldvdeng.dll made me think... His version is 3.9.12.168, my version (located in the same folder) is 3.9.16.269

So, I have a wonderfull working MF4......I copied the ldvdeng.dll of version MF4 (version 3.9.11.159) to the folder of MF5 (other PC).

Then I tried authoring a dvd with several MPEG2 files, other background music, transitions a.s.o....This didn't work with the original ldvdeng.dll but.....it worked with the copied MF4 dll !!!!!!! :D :D

I tried several authorings, the more difficult the better and everything worked.

I'm still waiting for a reply of the Ulead support,, maybe they have the real exact original ldvdeng.dll.
But , from now on, I can at least use this MF5 version!! :D :D
