smart download very "iffish"

i'm using PI11, the smart download works like once a yr and only downloads a few files.

It downloads SOME files like *.JPG, *.PDF but no *.UFO cna be downloaded

any ideas?

I have DSL Connection and firewall is off when i try downloading.

Smart Download has been anything but for at least the last 2 versions. Nothing new. If you had bothered to search this forum before you posted you would have found the answer to your question quicker than you posted your request.

Download from http://www.ulead.com/pi/esd.htm or search relevant posts on this board for an ftp download site. I don't have the link handy now but will come back later in case nobody else came to your rescue.

There is another good PI resource also where your problem (not only yours I might add) has been discussed. You will find it here http://www.ezboard.com/

You will need to register there first and then head over here http://p083.ezboard.com/fpirc67276frm4. It's been a while since the Smart Download problem has been discussed which may mean a lengthy search of the posts there. Look out for posts of the user NickD1066. He is very cluey and has an answer for anything. Maybe sending him a pm may be the quickest answer to your problem.

I would have searched for you but am a bit pressed for time right now, sorry.

Join the club. I also use PI 10 predominantly for my art work.

PI 11 only gets used when I work with photos. In that department it runs rings around PI 10.
