Ok, I must be going crazy.
I was having problems applying audio filters to dolby digital .mpg clips. (I'm unable to, as in video editor won't let me apply them to those clips). So far I've stumped Ulead tech support. But I did find that if I went into the Audio Editor, I could save the file as an .mpa file, pull it into video editor, and then the filters would work.
Here's the weird thing. When I first went into audio editor, I played around with my audio file using the DirectX audio effects (at the bottom of the effects pulldown menu.
But when I called tech support, they had me uninstall MSP8 and re-install it to try to fix this filter issue. (which it didn't).
Now, the DirectX audio effect is no longer available (greyed out). I reinstalled SP1 and all the other updates, but nothing works.
Was it a fluke that it worked in the first place? Or what do I do to get it to work?
Thanks,
Bud
