Cool 3D PS:Image Fly-In

Here is a Flash Animated tutorial on creating an Object, then applying an Image Texture to the Object, and finally Animating it.

Due to the hosting service going out of business, this is no longer available.

When you hold down the shift key and drag, it depends on what you have selected. If you have the Position tool, (the Hand) selected it should move the object closer or appear to enlarge it. If you have the Rotate tool selected then dragging will rotate it. The third tool is the Scale tool. If that one is selected, then the object will be scaled either up or down.

While you can choose to scale it, the effect is not the same as having the object come at you to a full screen. Which is changing its position in the Z-axis. When I changed the position, I actually changed its position in all three axis, X,Y and Z.

The size of the image shouldn't matter, as you are acting on the object not the texture, which is what your image is.

Have your Object Manager open, and then make sure you have the Object you created highlighted and not the Group. Dragging can be a little tricky, but once you do it few times it becomes the easiest method. Also you can continue to drag your mouse clear down, to the sides or up off your stage. This is real useful when you have several objects and need to re-position just one object or one group...
