Need advice....upgraded from Cool 3d 3.0 to 3.5

several missing compostions during upgrade. Not real happy right now. May ask for refund. Anyway, please give me some advice. What is the difference in Production Studio and 3d 3.5? I mean, I know you can create titles and such with 3d, but apparently there is more going on with Production Studio. I am mainly wanting to use one of these products for embellishing my VS9 videos. I am not a professional video producer, just home and for fun.
