MF5 Menu Transitions don't work properly

I'm having a bit of trouble with the menu transitions. FOr example if I want toe menu to fade to black and go to the program when play is hit, it fades to black, then the menu pops on again and it fades to black again and finally goes to the video (in other words it does the transition twice) this happenes on pretty much all of the menu transitions.

Any ideas

I'm answering from my workplace at the moment so cannot be too specific.
There are separate settings for Menu in and Menu Out, you need to check both, it's possible you may have them both set the same.

Actually I click the ANIMATED MENU checkbox to off (since I don't need moving thumbnails), so it disables the animation IN, but it lets me set a menu OUT.

MF5 motion menus are broken.

Already posted, already discussed, and confirmed.
No fix yet.
