Help me fix a problem

I am converting an avi to dvd. When I play the finished DVD, the audio is about 3 seconds ahead of the video and does not match up to what is on the screen. This is very annoying, Is there a way to fix this? I am using Movie Factory 3.5.

A simple search of this forum for OOS (out of sync) returned several pages of posts concerning this very problem. I suggest you do the same.
