Hi,
i am a ulead videostudio 6 SE Basic user.
i have a camcorder sharp vlz-7s. it uses mini dv.
i send my captures to my computer via ulead
but when i choose dv format it takes many megabytes in my computer and then i could not send them to cd or dvd. when i choose mpeg format it takes few megabyte to transfer to cd but the image quality diminish with this format. the avi format's image quality is better. is there a solution for me to create good quality video CDs or DVDs??

A bigger hard drive sounds like the solution
Capturing as a dv-avi file preserves the quality.
I would then edit, and output to Mpeg2.
Import the mpeg2 into MF and author your dvd.
The more you try to fit on one dvd the worse the quality will be, try sticking to about an hour for max quality.
one hour of dv-avi = 13gb
one hour of converted mpeg2 = 4gb at best quality
