Copying and pasting audio with VS9

Post by thad »

Is there a way to copy a segment of audio that's already in the project and paste it into another location? So far, I've always resorted back to capturing the desired audio segment with Nero Wave Editor and then inserting it. I'm looking for a way to do it completely inside of VS9.

Thanks.

Hi Thad,

Yes there is, just like an image or video clip. Drag it to the Library, then drag it back to the timeline.

You might create a new Folder in your audio library, just for the copies. That way they don't get mixed up with the rest of the audio clips.

Ron,

It grabs the video and audio. How can I select just the audio?

Drag the audio/video clip to the timeline and right click.
An option appears to split the audio.
