Hello,
I finnaly received the boxed version of VS10+. How can I install the bonus content (audio, video etc.) files? Do I have to manually copy them to a certain folder in my VS10+ program folder?
Maybe a stupid question, but I can't find any info on it in the manual...
I bet someone here can help me out!
Thanks!!

Geesh, I certainly hope not....
I was a beta tester for VS10, and when I received my boxed version, I had/have the same question... There is not install for the extra content that I could find. So I'm guessing that the drag-n-drop install method is the only way to get that stuff...
So far I have not worried about it, but will get to it sooner or later...
***EDITED***
I just went and had another look and the only way I can see is to drag-n-drop those files. What I done, was inside VS10, I used the Library Manager to create New Folders for each one. I copied the bonus items onto my hard disc, then opened the specific folders inside VS and Imported them. Since this just places thumbnail links, you should copy them from the CD, to somewhere on your HDD, or else when you don't have the bonus CD in your tray, VS will want to re-link them.

VS 10+ Bonus Disk
I am clueless about how to install this bonus disk. I actually bought the download version and there are no instructions on how to install this bonus material. This is a zip file and there is a whole folder structure in there once you unzip. But I do not know how to incorporate that stuff with video studio.
Please explain in detail. I am a pure novice to this.

VS9 user and thinking of upgrading to VS10+
interested in knowing if you resolve the bonus disk issues. I would like (I think!) to have Photoimpact and the combo promotion looks good. I would worry though if you all are having bonus disk issues. Sure seems like a major provider of software could simplify the install issues. I had heck getting my upgrade of Cool 3d to come out.

Tommy,
Just unzip if the files are downloaded (ESD version), or drag them, copy and paste, if you purchased the full boxed version, and have the CD, to your hard drive.
Then launch VS, and in the Libraries for each respective component (video, images, etc..) select to insert (video file, image file, etc..), and browse to where you have copied the folders and files. Then VS will link to them. You can copy them to the VS directory (Ulead Systems/VideoStudio 10 Plus/Samples/Video or Images...), or just to anywhere on your HDD you wish. VS just links to them.
NOTE, what I done prior to copying, was to create new Library Folders under each catagory. I moved all the files that were the standard, (not on the bonus CD) to a Folder called Ulead Samples. I then created a folder(Library Manager) called Bonus CD, and linked them under that one.
Hope that helps..
