Spill Supression

Post by namrekka »

Hello,

I am new to the vs10 and am very impressed. I am using this primarily as a chroma key, but I have utilized everything I know so far from this product. I am filming against a chroma green screen, I am receiving a small bit of green spill over. I am a good 7 feet from the back screen. I can't find anything on this site, or on a search to indicate it has any compensations for spill.

Thanks,

Mark.

There was an interesting discussion in the MediaStudio thread recently about green screen/blue screen with a number of external links.

Most of these items will also apply to VideoStudio.

The lighting has alot to do with Chroma-Key. If you don't get even lighting, then it will be difficult to key out the required color. If there is any shadowing onto the cloth, or wrinkles, it will look like a darker color to the program, and it will not key it out.
