Can't find Ulead PE 2 after system restore---HELP!

I did a system restore and lost my Ulead PE 2 icon. I found the files in my program files, but can't find the "read me" or "install" files. I can't find my CD, I've turned my desk upside down.
Does anyone know what to do???

Hi Turtle Dove, and welcome to the forums..

Does anyone know what to do???

1. Turn your desk right-side up.
2. Can you find the PE launcher file (Pex.exe)? If you can find it, you can create a shortcut. Can you still open the program?
3. If not, and you can not find the CD, then since PE2 is an old program that has been phased out for some time, the only other solution I can think of is to purchase a more current one.

If you do choose to upgrade, I would try to obtain the serial number from the one you have. If you can launch PE2, go to the About and you should be able to see your serail number. Write it down, it may be needed for you to get an upgrade price..

4. Cry, scream, throw things about the room, your computer out the window of a very tall building..
