Show File Names On Photos In VS10
I have occasion to develop slideshows from photographs. Is there a way to show the filename of each of the photos without adding a title to each photo?

As far as I am aware, no. You have to use the Title function to add titles individually. However, others may have more useful responses than this!
I tend to use Movie Factory for slideshows as it has a separate function specifically for these and seems to handle them with ease. But even there, you cannot include titles, unless you use the ability built into the slideshow unit of MF5, to manually add titles as well.
Mind you, unless you have already given all your photos individual names, the usual digital still camera naming system would leave a lot to be desired, or at least not be very informative: DSC0000001, DSC0000002 etc. But if you have already renamed them, and wanted to avoid doing so again, sorrreeee!!
You will just have to remember next time to save all that effort until you actually start building the slideshow.

Broo0951,
There is one workaround to this. It involves using an image editing program to place titles on your photos. A program like Irfanview which is a freebie (or shareware if you intend on using it commercially) can place titles right on the images. Now if this isn't good enough, you can use the Batch Rename to rename the files, AND to superimpose titles onto the images.
For example, you have 200 images that you want to resize, rename, and place titles on each image. Irfanview can do all that (and more) in one process...
Just a thought to help you workaround the problem...
