Thumbnail free template - Please post link

Post by mds »

Hello Movie Factory users,

I was wondering if someone can point me to a template that does not have a thumbnail on it that I use text over video of my choice to create a menu.

I can't believe for the life of me, that unlead does not include a clean template. Nothing makes proffessionals look like amatures when packaging dvd's using templates. IDVD on macs have this options.

If anyone knows how to create a template and wound not mind sharing it with us, please post a link, or email it to me, and I'll post it on my website.

If unlead reads these boards, can you post one on your website ASAP!!!!!

email michaelds@(remove)rogers.com

Thanks,

Michael

You can create them in Photoimpact, they are UFO files a propietary format.

What do you need just a blank background? So you can add text to it within MF? I can make you one of those.

MF isn't supposed to be a professional authoring program, it's for consumers. If you want professional you have to pay for it: http://www.ulead.com/dws/runme.htm

That will do anything you want.

blank or single-thumbnail template

Post by nigelb »

Hi onecoalman,

Actually, I would be very interested in obtaining a blank and/or single-thumbnail template for DVD MovieFactory 4 that you're offering (both of which is not supplied which is crazy!). I am trying to do something similar and need the front menu page to ideally show just one clip, or if possible no clip at all (with the ability to click on some added text to start the video).

Can you please provide a template file for me? (As I don't have Photo Impact). I would REALLY appreciate it!!!

Thanks
Nigel

Just make a black picture using Paint and use it as your background.
Then customize to make the frames etc.

One nice feature is to use "No Frame".

Hi etech6355

Thanks for your post. Yes I understand I can easily create a black image in Paint and use this as my background etc, but what I'm actually after (if possible) is:

To create a DVD that contains 5 video titles, with just ONE title showing on the first menu page, and the remaining 4 titles showing on the next page.

What I've found in MovieFactory 4 is that there are only templates for showing two or more titles on each menu page, but not for just one! (unless there's only one title on the DVD of course).

Has anyone created (or can create for me) a MovieFactory 4 template to show just ONE title on a menu page?

Thanks
Nigel
