I have Ulead Cool 3D production Studio and Video Studio 9. I am looking to make menu's for DVD's that are on main menu and that can start another video. Is there a way with either one of those or do I need DVD workshop or some other program out there. Like Adobe Encore or Premier. Now thats a lot of money.
Hoping to get an answer within budget

Hi Riverhoop,
You can create DVD menu buttons using Cool 3D PS. However if you are wanting to create DVD menus from scratch DVD Workshop is the program for that.
You can also use PhotoImpact to create DVD menus. The reason for needing PhotoImpact, is that Ulead uses its proprietary file format for the menus. If you had PhotoImpact then you can create your own menus.

I'm sorry but I am a bit confused. What I want to do is create a menu with buttons to look like a commercail DVD and it says Play, Chapter selection Special features and a viwer can select one of those to take you to that selection. I can't find an area in PI10 to let me do that job. I see how to make buttons.
Thanks
Bill

Bill,
I'm sorry I don't have and am not familiar with PI-10. I have just a little knowledge of PI-11, and still learning it.
Does PI-10 have the Composite Designer, and the DVD Menu templates? These are what you would use to start with to create them.
Hopefully one of the real experts with PI will respond to this...
