Shouldn't turning Anti-Aliasing OFF actually do that???

Post by TomDM »

I've noticed, in recent versions, that even though I specifically turn off anti-aliasing, certain operations seem to insist on performing it.

For instance, if I create a selection and fill it with a solid color then reverse the selection and hit 'Delete', it does an automatic anti-alias on the solid color.

I want to be able to completely block and form of anti-aliasing at times and I don't seem to be able to do that with recent versions (Version 10)

Did you turn off anti-aliasing for the Selection tool?

Select the Selection tool. On the Tool Options bar, Select Options, which has a red checkmark just below the text title.

On the Menu Item list uncheck anti-aliasing, which is checked by defaut.
